Am I a dog person or a cat person?

That question is no longer hard for me to answer. At all.

It's been a long summer. And Ginger, regardless, I'll always love you, wherever you are.

I cannot wait until I can someday pick up my puppy.

We were at the races. I could give two shits about the horses. But those little dogs. Those ridiculous pretzel dogs that are half a dog tall and two and a half dogs long have had my heart for a loooooong time, longer than Bruce, any guy I've ever liked, not as long as my family but, y'know, I was in 8th grade when I said "I can't decide what I want. A wiener dog or a dachshund" and to quote Morgan when I actually said "what if I didn't actually get a wiener dog" and she said "well your entire life would be a lie."

We were at the races. And number 12 didn't run like the other dogs. She just sat herself down in the dirt. She didn't follow any of the others. She didn't even follow her owner. She just plopped her booty down. All stubborn and willful.

And I totally said "THAT will be my dog."

Someday!

I'm going to laugh when one day you find yourself the proud owner of a black lab!

Oh HEEEEEEEEEEEEEELL no! I'd sooner own a thousand cats, start kicking it with those Jehovah Witnesses who always seem to pop up at the most inoportune times, move to Iowa (no offense Nat)and fill my time watching Matthew McConaughey movies. If I bought a black lab, my entire life would ALSO be a lie. Blech. BlechBlechBlech.
